Community Events creates points in time in which people come together to learn, enjoy, and add value to their communities. We recruit civic-minded businesses, organizations and individuals to support these events and ensure maximum value to our communities.

Sean Spence, Principal

• Started Community Events in 2008.
• Managed the successful campaign for Missouri’s state auditor, setting records for the number and percentage of votes received in that race.
• Founded and ran a successful marketing firm, The Sunrise Agency.
• Created DefensExec – an event for high-level members of the homeland security industry. Held three times around the country, generating greater than $100,000 in revenue on each occasion.
• Hired by Crucial Technology (an $800 million consumer division of Micron Technology) to create and manage its global PR program.
• Created and managed hundreds of events over the course of a 16-year career.

Lyn Williams, Operations Manager

• More than 10 years of experience as an Operation Manager, with a background in the retail tax, medical group purchasing and insurance industries.
• Office manager for the Missouri Campaign for Change local office and actively volunteer for other political candidates.
• Currently completing a bachelor's degree in Business Management at Columbia College.
